Jack Barber Show

Jack Barber was the original bass player for the famed Sir Douglas Quintet and continued to work with Doug Sahm and Augie Meyers both in SDQ and various other projects. With over 40 years of experience, his musical styles range from Texas Blues, Jazz, Funk, Country, Conjunto (Tex-Mex), making him one of the most sought after bassists around. He has layed down a solid foundation for such Grammy Nominated releases as “Doug Sahm and The Last Real Texas Blues Band” on Antone’s Records and Augie Meyers “White Boy” to the multi Grammy winning Texas Tornados and their Nominated Warner/Reprise release.
